Training Tips
Triathlon, like any sport, is not something you learn from a book. As an athlete you will improve though practice, race experience, and practical knowledge. These pages focuses on the practical knowledge component of the sport. As you grow in triathlon, you will need more info than can be provided in the links below. On each page you'll find links to additional resources.

NTRODUCTION
If you're new to the sport, you probably have a lot of questions. We'll try to answer some of the basics here.
SWIM
Is swimming the event you dread the most? Don't let it be. With some practice, a few tips, and some confidence, swimming can be a lot of fun.
BIKE
Biking is exciting component of triathlon. Riding with a group, while using some basic safety and skills knowledge, can make biking even more fun.
RUN
Remember the joys of running as a kid? With a group to support you, and good coaching, we'll help make running fun again.
TRANSITION
If you're looking to decrease your race times, this is an easy place to start. Learning what to bring and how to organize for the in-between can make the difference.
NUTRITION
Called the 4th event of triathlon, nutrition is often overlooked.
RACE PREP
Getting ready for your first race can be nerve-wracking.

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
As you get more serious, so does the material. Whether you want to start simple with heartrate training or go deeper with TrImps, we'll steer you in the right direction.
